Oral Sedation
With oral sedation, you will be prescribed a small pill to take the morning of your dental appointment. This form of sedation dentistry is safe for most patients and will allow you to arrive to our office in a euphoric state for a more enjoyable dental visit. We do ask that you have someone bring you to and from your appointment for your safety, but the effects will wear off later the same day.

IV Sedation
IV sedation is deep sedation dentistry that is commonly recommended for more complex cases or severe dental anxiety or fear. An experienced anesthesiologist will administer the IV and monitor your vitals for the duration of your treatment to ensure your complete safety. You will maintain enough control to communicate with your dentist while under sedation and the effects will end immediately following the completion of your treatment.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, is a moderate form of sedation dentistry ideal for many surgical dental treatments. It helps patients relax and often gives a euphoric feeling so you can get the treatment you need without feeling groggy or unresponsive.

Local Anesthetic
The most common type of sedation dentistry, local anesthesia is injected into the area of the mouth where our dentists need to perform treatment. The injection works by blocking the nerve signals from reaching the brain, preventing you from feeling pain. The anesthetic will leave your mouth, cheeks and tongue feeling numb for hours following treatment, so you will need to eat and drink with caution until the effects have worn off.

EVERYONE at this office is wonderful. I've been to several appointments, and everyone from the person who answers the phone to the person who sees me out of my appointment is fantastic at their job. They are informative and competent and make me feel welcome.
